Alisha, a photographer came to me and asked that I be a part of her portfolio showcasing struggles and obstacles with mental health. Below are a few that stood out...not just because she did a great job, but because they capture the essence of what I was feeling in those low moments years ago. You know how it feels to lose your ONLY phone charger when you need it the most because your phone is nearing 1%? And without that charger you phone dies? Kinda feels hopeless right? That was me; feeling hopeless. That was me because I relied on others for my charge, for my power, for my worth. For me, these pictures serve as a reminder to continue to trust myself more, love myself more, and to balance wisdom and emotion. Dark clouds and storms do not last long. Keep the Faith and Keep Hope alive.
Stay tuned for her official release in August!
